Raclin Murphy Encore Center

The first- and second-floor lobbies of the Raclin Murphy Encore Center offer a stunning contemporary extension of the historic Morris Performing Arts Center. With convenient access from Michigan Street and direct connections to both levels of the Morris, these light-filled, elegant spaces are ideal for receptions, pre- and post-show gatherings, business functions, and special events. Designed for flexibility and flow, each level can accommodate up to 200 guests for a reception-style event.

Situated on the first floor of the Raclin Murphy Encore Center with private access from Michigan Street, the Equity in the Arts Event Space is a versatile and thoughtfully designed venue for meetings, presentations, and community gatherings. The space includes a built-in screen and projector, integrated audio/visual capabilities, and is complemented by two adjacent family restrooms and a convenient kitchenette. A rotating art exhibit, refreshed monthly, adds a dynamic and inspiring element to the room. The space can accommodate up to 50 guests.

Located on the second floor of the Raclin Murphy Encore Center, the Lounge is an inviting and stylish gathering space perfect for intimate receptions, VIP experiences, or private meetings. The Lounge features a built-in bar, comfortable and modern seating, and access to a private outdoor patio overlooking the Jon R. Hunt Plaza. This unique space offers a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere and can accommodate up to 40 guests.
