The Morris Performing Arts Center ensures the safety of our patrons and employees when visiting or working in our theater. As of March 9, 2018, bags of any kind are subject to inspection prior to admission. We acknowledge that this procedure may cause some inconvenience, but hope these are minor in comparison to increased safety. As you enter the building to have your ticket scanned, please be prepared to have your bag inspected.

  • Oversize purses or bags, backpacks, or backpack style purses
  • Chemical weapons such as mace and pepper spray
  • Professional grade cameras with detachable lenses or laser pointers, or professional grade audio/video recording devices

Guests with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrances to return items to their vehicle or to dispose of them. No storage or “check-in area” will be provided.
