South Bend High School Music Fest

Over 275 students and teachers from the four area South Bend High Schools, will gather together, for the first time, on the stage of The Morris Performing Arts Center, located 211 N. Michigan Street. to present a joint concert on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 7 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

Students from the bands, choirs, orchestras, and jazz ensembles from Adams, Clay, Riley, and Washington high schools,  will gather at the Morris during the afternoon for a joint rehearsal. That rehearsal will be followed by a dinner for the students in the Palais Royale. Many of these musical ensembles received Gold Medals at the recent Indiana State School Music Association.

The concert will be the first time such an event has been held at The Morris. It will be an opportunity for many of the students to be in the hall and perform on this prestigious stage

The concert will feature 20 musical ensembles and is part of the Arts Equity program initiated by the Morris Performing Arts Center.  This program is designed to offer opportunities for more diverse performers and cultivate more diverse audiences at The Morris.
