Ricky Dillard, known as “The Choirmaster,” is a Grammy-nominated gospel music pioneer whose career spans more than three decades. Since releasing his debut in 1990, he has remained a driving force in contemporary gospel, earning multiple Grammy nominations, Stellar Awards, Dove Awards, and an NAACP Image Award while consistently delivering chart-topping albums with his powerhouse ensemble, New Generation Chorale (“New G”).

A Chicago native, Dillard’s influence extends beyond the church into film, television, and cross-genre collaborations, including work with legendary artists and appearances in major productions. Renowned for his electrifying choir sound and innovative leadership, he continues to shape and expand the global impact of gospel music for new generations.
