Never run late for a show again! The Granada is located on the lower level of the MPAC, giving you the prime location to relax and enjoy beverages before the show.
Inspired by its 1927 heritage, The Granada is an intimate destination; a nod to the once standing Granada theater housed across from the Morris Performing Arts Center. The Granada Theater once stood across from the MPAC (formerly named the Palace Theater) until 1971 when it was torn down due to a change in movie-goers habits. The architecture and interior decor were inspired by Spanish style, including walls made of Spanish red tile.
It’s shining moment came when the premiere of Knute Rockne: All American came to town. This special event brought Hollywood stars including Pat O’Brien and Bob Hope and shut down Michigan street with excited South Bend residents. Ticket prices reached as high as $1.65.
