The historic Morris Performing Arts Center, which includes the Morris theater and the Palais Royale ballroom, is South Bend's premier venue for live entertainment. The 2,564 seat theater presents, on the average, 90 performances a year ranging from Broadway to Symphony to rock to comedy - you name it! The Morris has been consistently ranked among the Top 100 Theaters Worldwide by Pollstar Magazine, a highly respected industry journal. And, most recently, the Morris Center received the prestigious national 2015 Outstanding Historic Theatre Award by League of Historic American Theatres (LHAT). Yes, the Morris is, without a doubt, the "HOTTEST" ticket in town!
The Morris Performing Arts Center, located at 211 North Michigan Street in the heart of downtown South Bend, is not only listed on the National Register of Historic Places, but it is one of the most beloved landmarks in the city. Patrons may have come here to see their first concert or Broadway show; some had their first date here and maybe even had their first kiss in the balcony. We hold a special place in many people’s hearts, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
We hope you enjoy your experience and we look forward to seeing you under the marquee lights here at the MAGNIFICENT MORRIS!
