WHAT IS THE MORRIS MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM?
The Morris Membership Program is a variety of membership levels created to entice patrons to play a part (big or small!) in helping maintain the historic MPAC.
The Morris, in 2000, and the Palais Royale, in 2002, both re-opened after being restored/renovated to their original grandeur at a cost of nearly $24 million. Today, it is our goal to keep these facilities in pristine condition, maintaining their historical integrity, so as to avoid another costly renovation in the future. However, the cost of maintenance, upkeep and utilities is incredibly high. This is where you can make a difference. We have two ways you can become part of a great history!
SEAT PLAQUE RECOGNITION PROGRAM
Have you ever wanted a unique way to honor or memorialize a loved one? By endowing a seat at the MPAC you can make your loved one forever part of a historic landmark. Seats can also make wonderful gifts or tributes for theater enthusiasts. When you endow a seat, a brass plaque will bear an inscription of your choice which will be attached to the back of a seat in the Morris Theater.
There are three levels of giving through the seat campaign:
A seat in the orchestra, main floor or mezzanine.
A seat in the first balcony.
A seat in the second or third balcony.
Funds raised through both the Seat Campaign and donations will be added to the Morris Center Endowment Fund for continued historic preservation of the Morris Performing Arts Center.
If you wish to endow a seat or for more information regarding donations, please call 574-235-9198 or E-mail at email@example.com
