SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Due to a building issue at the Morris Performing Arts Center, Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band concert will be moved to the Century Center, just two blocks away from the Morris in downtown South Bend. After nearly 100 years of concerts and events, the Morris experienced a failure of a decorative piece of plaster on the ceiling. Because guest safety remains the top priority, Venues Parks & Arts will work with show promoters on upcoming concerts until the issue is resolved.

VPA will hold media availability today, September 7 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern outside the Morris Performing Arts Center.

The Ringo Starr concert will remain at the same date and time – Sunday, September 9 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. The relocated concert will take place in the Exhibit Hall of the Century Center, which is located at 120 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, South Bend, IN 46601.

The doors to the Century Center will open at 6:00 pm Eastern for ticket holders to enter. Doors to the concert hall open at 6:30 p.m. All guests are strongly encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance of the show starting, which is at 7:30 p.m.

Ticket holders who purchased their tickets with an email address or phone number will be sent detailed instructions regarding the change in location for this event.
