The Morris Performing Arts Center presents Fridays by the Fountain on the Jon R. Hunt Plaza, in front of the Morris Theater, each summer between the months of June and August. The concert series traditionally runs every other Friday and features live entertainment from local Blues, Jazz, Rock, Folk, and Country bands. The concerts are free and open to the public and run from 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM. Food vendors are available and they offer a variety of lunchtime favorites including pizza, sandwiches, salads and pasta, or you may choose to bring your own. Tables are set in and around the plaza or bring your own blanket and chair!
Justin is a 15 year old Country and Classic Rock singer from South Bend, IN. He has been all around Indiana and won numerous awards for his vocal talent. In 2011, when he was just 9 years old, he made his debut into music when he sang and won first place at the local fair talent show. His performance gained local recognition in the South Bend Tribune and on WNDU.
Along with winning several other talent shows, Justin has twice won 1st place at the Indiana State Fair Talent Show for boys solo division. He has also appeared on WNIT’s Michiana Rising Star twice. In December 2016, he was interviewed about early successes on South Bend’s Country Radio station B100. He now sings at venues all over Indiana, Michigan and Chicago.
